Haha well good luck to ya but can you explain this to me...

A unit was created as a way to standardize a person's average bet to get a good idea of how much the person wins per amount risked.

I never understood the 850 unit thing... Some guys have 1000 or 5000 unit plays. Are you really betting 850 times your normal bet or is the system just all screwed up?

Anyway, good luck. That's my commentary for the day.

Funny. I won the 1st ever RX MLB Handicapping Challenge and was leading in year two when I was more or less kicked out for being a dick and not following posting guidelines.

Also up big in nearly every sport the last 2.5 years cept MLB this last year and fuckin hockey.

I can't believe grown men are throwing hissy fits. Ace just hit 8 in a row and I said I hoped he hit the next 8 in a row but am playing the law of averages and going against this play.

I didn't know wishing someone go 16-1 was a bad thing.

I believe this thread in no way disrespected ACE nor had any serious bad intentions. Just saying hey man I'm fading you this one time and that's it.

For those that care, Ace won the bet by a half point. No harm no foul. Congrats on the win Ace and I think me and him both realize there were no hard feelings at all. Not sure why others automatically assume that I was bashing him... I realize he gets alot of crap but I never knew wishing someone win their next 8 and lose 1 was bashing.

My own homework is very profitable bud.

I'll fade anyone that wins a ton in a row. I might win or I might lose but it's not gonna break the bank. I've won around 15 in a row and lost 18 in a row during one stretch but streaks have to end at some point. If you hit 10 in a row or whatever, some losses will come shortly thereafter generally. Hell, if I win 15 in a row I'd almost reccomend people fade me because even though I hit a nice percentage, it has to come to Earth some time. If I go 20-2 my first 22 bets, there's an excellent chance that my next 10 will not be profitable. You just can't keep a 95% streak or whatever going. Even the best cappers level off at 56% or 57%.

I wasn't a dick to Ace-Ace and wished him luck and said I hope he hits his next 8. I really don't see what the outcry is about. The only reason I let it get personal was because people made it personal toward me for no reason.

So anyway, I don't want to worry about this anymore. I didn't say anything rude, people overreacted like dumbasses, I responded like a dumbass, and that's that.
